Hello and welcome to the Unity blog. I’m Gaylynn. Here, I am sharing a belated birthday funny chicken sunburst card and background. This was quick and easy to make. See the details and supplies noted below.
For this chicken card, I added Copic marker coloring and colorful stamping.
Sentiment:
Happy birthday. Better late than never… unless you’re a chicken crossing the road.
Helpful Tips:
-
Prepare a white A2-sized card base, 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ folded.
-
Onto smooth white cardstock, stamp the chicken and the sentiment using black ink suitable for your markers of choice.
-
Color the chicken with markers. I used Copic markers.
-
Fussy cut (cut out) the chicken with scissors.
-
Die-cut or hand trim the sentiment into a banner shape.
-
Die-cut the happy birthday sentiment.
-
Stamp a sunburst background onto smooth white cardstock.
-
Die-cut the sunburst cardstock panel using the largest of the deckle & stitches nesting dies.
-
Adhere the sunburst layer, the chicken, the sentiments and a tiny heart to the card front using flat or foam double-sided adhesive.
Finally, here is a closer look at this fun greeting.
