Hi friends!
Welcome to Membership Thursday! Today I’m pairing a lovely design image from April’s Kit of the Month with Unity’s AMAZING patterned paper! I’ll be using Steampunk Fairyland paper with the Kit of the Month!
When I saw this angel image, it reminded me of Easter, so I’m choosing this with Easter coming up this weekend! the angel is one of many images in April’s Kit of the Month. And I love to use Unity’s patterned paper every opportunity I get because it’s the most unique and detailed paper I’ve ever seen!
I stamped her using black ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I colored the angel with the wings in shades of beige and her dress in shades of teal. I added gold gel pen to the flowers on her dress to help them stand out. Then I fussy cut her out.
You can see all the details of her in the image above! Next, I took 2 sheets of paper from Steampunk Fairyland and trimmed both to 5.5×4.25. The paper pads are nice because the designs are coordinated to work together! I adhered one piece of the paper to a white card base. Then I tore the 2nd piece by hand at an angle to get a jagged edge. I added brown ink to the jagged edge and adhered it over the other piece of patterned paper. I added brown ink all around the edges of the card panel along with gold paste for shine and interest.
Next, I adhered the angel using foam tape along with one of the sentiments from the kit. I added brown ink around the sentiment as well. I finished with glossy accents over the flowers.
You can see all the details in the card below!
