Happy Monday! Andrea here with your splash of color to start your week. I HAD to play with the Fairy image from this month’s KOM. April’s Kit of the Month is full of gorgeous images and a few of them are huge like this fairy! She is so beautiful and whimsical.
I started with coloring her hair and skin. I made her a blonde as it complimented the papers I was using. Just E00 and E11 copics for her skin and R20 for her cheeks.
Her dresss used quite a few colors again to compliment the paper. I find that matching paper and makers help pull your card together.
I wasn’t sure how I wanted to color her wings. I brushed the blues into the peach color to pull it together. I pulled my card layout together and originally had her in a white rectangle but it detracted from her simple beauty due to her size. So I fussy cut her out and added her to my card. A few gems, sentiment and some glitter finish the card off.
