Hi friends! Lisa here, and I’m so excited to share one of my cards featured in this month’s Unity membership insert.
I had so much fun creating this relaxing, masculine design using May’s Background of the Month and Kit of the Month. Each month, Unity members receive a gorgeous full-color insert with two card ideas… including this one! It’s such a joy to see those ideas come to life with the fantastic stamps and paper we get in our kits.
This card is all about slowing down and taking it easy. I paired the earthy cracked texture of Walk This Way with the hammock image from the Slow Down & Savor Kit of the Month. It’s such a calm, cozy vibe, so perfect for Father’s Day or any chill celebration. I layered torn patterned papers from the Hey. There. pack and used the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies to add even more texture. The sentiment strips give it that playful, “do nothing” energy I love.
Assembly Instructions
