Happy Friday Crafty Friends! It’s Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today with a BIG hello card featuring the super cute She Monsters stamps and Love Notes paper pack. This stamp set features three cutie pies that compliment the three handsome monsters in Monster Mayhem. (And don’t forget that these stamps also have coordinating digital cut files to avoid fussy cutting!) Let’s get crafty and make a card.
I started by stamping and coloring this cutie using Copics: BG45, BG49, BG57, R11, R20, R21, YG17, YG25. I fussy cut her out, but if you have a cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette, you can use the digital cut file to cut the image out and then stamp it. {Here’s a quick video on how that works.}
Now time to cut some fun patterned paper. I trimmed the red patterned paper at 5.375″ x 4.125″ and a lime green at 5.25″ x 4″ and adhered to a white card base. I also die cut the word “friend” from the center of that same red patterned paper. I die cut that same word two more times in white card stock to make it sturdy. I die cut hello out of white card stock and the hello shadow die cut from a teal patterned paper.
With some foam tape, I added the hello and tucked in the little monster under it. Using liquid glue to adhere the friend on the bottom of the hello. I found some puffy hearts in my stash and added those too for a little extra cuteness.
