Happy Friday Crafty Friends! It’s Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules back on the blog with the three new Rescue Tale releases: JuneBug, Thor and Lucy. This sweet trio is just too cute not to collect so I made three fun tags to collect using lots of fun crafty supplies that you probably have in your stash. So lets get inky!

Meet Thor.  This big boy has the sweetest face and a big paws to go with a big heart. For all of these tags I used the Make-a-Tag die set to die cut white card stock. I ink blended Uncharted Mariner Distress ink randomly on the tag leaving plenty of white space.

Next, I used the Muddy Paws Background stamp to gently stamp parts of the tag creating a more distressed stamping look. You can use any background stamp to create this kind of look by inking just parts of the background and stamping it.

Then I added some washi tape that I had in my stash that had black & white colors to keep with the theme of the tags. I also pulled out some paw shaped paper clips. I also found a script font die set in my stash for the names and die cut them in black card stock.

For Lucy, I did the same concept with Wilted Violet Distress Ink. I also added black sequins and sentiment stickers. I also added white paint splatters before adhering little Lucy to the front with foam tape.

This would be a great way to catalog all of your rescue tale stamps using the Make-a-Tag die set and various colors.

And then there’s little JuneBug. I added a little orange washi to highlight her patch of orange. For her background, I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

Junebug is the only kitten in this release, but there are two others named Pookie and LoLa that are equally as adorable. Rescue Tale Stamps are the new Pokemon… Gotta catch ’em all!
