Hello there and welcome to the Unity blog. I’m Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing mixed media style vintage party chickens in this rustic birthday card using Unity Stamp Co. red rubber stamps and dies.
Also, the chickens and patterned paper go great with distress ink blending and Copic marker coloring. See the full project supply list linked below.
Sentiment: Let’s party like we don’t need naps.
Helpful Tips
-
Precut and score your card base using kraft color cardstock.
-
Stamp two chickens and a sentiment next to each other onto smooth white cardstock, using alcohol friendly black ink.
-
Die-cut the scene using banner or flag dies or trim.
-
Trim or die-cut the background from vintage patterned paper and trim two small banners for flag accents.
-
Add light brown ink blending around all of the edges and panels.
-
Layer and adhere it all to the card front.
Next, take a look at the fun pair of party chickens a little closer.
Additionally, see the short video of the process.
