Elegant and simple bear card layout with stamping, ink blending & patterned paper

Hi there.  Welcome to the Unity blog.  I’m Gaylynn.  Today, I am sharing a sweet and easy card layout with a bear stamp, patterned paper and ink blending. I used a coordinating layered card layout for quick and simple crafting.

I am featuring the July 2025 Kit of the Month by Unity Stamp Company. These stamps are now available as a full membership kit, as an individual stamp set or may be purchased as a one-time full kit. See the full supply list below.

Sentiment:  For the sweet soul with a wild heart.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Precut and score a white card base.

  2. On smooth white cardstock, stamp the bear and the sentiment.

  3. Trim or die-cut the bear and the sentiment.

  4. Trim or die-cut a dark teal frame layer for the bear panel and a background from patterned paper.

  5. Ink blend teal ombre color over the bear panel.

  6. Add white paint splatters over the bear panel and dry completely.

  7. Layer and adhere the elements to the card front.

Next, this is a look at the pieces before assembling the card.

Finally, here is another look at the card.
