Hello and welcome to the Unity blog. I’m Gaylynn. I had fun creating this Halloween themed snarky cat card. Just stamp and stencil onto dark cardstock, then add a touch of ink blending. It was fitting to make a night sky background with moonlight effects. For the main image, I used Witch Please Pissy Kitty stamps. And for the moonlight rays, I used this Stamp & Stencil duo.
The effect of the background resembles 3D embossing, but it is flat. The full supply list and video are below.
Sentiment: Witch please. I’m just here to stir the pot.
Helpful Tips:

Precut and score a white A2 sized card base for a vertical card.

Stamp the witch kitty and the sentiments onto smooth white cardstock using black alcohol friendly ink.

Color the witch kitty. I used Copic markers in brown, gray, yellow and orange shades.

Trim or die-cut the sentiments into circles and small banners.

Onto dark blue cardstock, stamp the rays background using watermark ink, then heat set.

Lightly ink blend partially over the rays using the coordinating stencil and white pigment ink. Heat set.

Die-cut or trim the dark blue stenciled panel.

Layer and adhere the background and elements to the card base using thin foam or flat double-sided tape or glue.
