I think Tuesday might be one of my favorite days of the week on the Unity blog. This post is fun because we get to spotlight a couple of projects we LOVE made by Unity enthusiasts like YOU! Let’s start today’s post by doing just that.
First up is an UBER adorable card put together by Cornelia Wenokor. It really caught my eye and captured my heart! Wouldn’t you love to get this for your birthday?! The glasses are such the perfect touch. Bravo, Cornelia!
Here’s a link to Cornelia’s blog post, let’s leave her some LOVE: http://fun-stamping.blogspot.com/2015/07/happy-birthday-becca.html
Next up is Melissa Czapor’s gorgeous project she put together as a gift to give another woman. I LOVE everything about it. I’d love to get it and would display it proudly in my home.
Check out the cause and her blog post and leave her some love, too: http://melissacreates10.blogspot.com/2015/07/friendship-gift.html?showComment=1438033491494#c5671218346939682350
Both of these creations were found on the Unity {Show & Tell} Facebook page. Here’s a link, so you can join and share your creations with other Unity lovers, too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/434773279941105/
Next up is an 8-1/2-x-11-inch scrapbook layout I put together showcasing a few pictures and journaling from our family’s trip to this year’s California State Fair in Sacramento, California. I even did a quick little video, so you can see how it came together. Please watch!
I used Unity’s Kit of the Month, Halo Dirty, to embellish my layout. You can literally put that camera on anything scrap related and call it DONE! The zigzag ribbon is another staple embellishment to add to your rubber stamp arsenal that you can use over and over again.
Here’s a QUICK video capturing the process of my layout.
I’m sure around this time of year, we’re all visiting our county and state fairs. I think my favorite part of the fair is strolling the carnival area and holding my hubby’s hand while we watch our children take it all in. OH—and I love the deep fried moon pie!
Have a great week and get out there and visit your local fair with the ones you LOVE!
