Hi everyone, Laurel here. I decided to play with an Angie Girl again (Harper Girl)… I have had her for awhile so it was time to ink her up. Trouble is, I couldn’t decide on the look so I created 2 cards using the same stamps, same basic sketch but 2 different looks.
This first card, is my usual style… paper piecing that is. I love to paper piece. I am totally aging myself here, but I’m thinking Pinky Tuscadero… do you know who that is? Happy Days was one of my favorite shows growing up and with pink being my favorite color, I always loved when Pinky came on. Now she was a biker, but I think that if she was a cowgirl… she would look like this!
I have paired Harper up with Whiskey than Tea – they are a perfect match don’t you think? Harper is mounted on foam squares for dimension.
For this next card, I went with more of a cowgirl look – you know, denim, white t-shirt…
This one is out of my comfort zone. I did more coloring than I usually do. I did have fun though and I’m happy with the way the jeans turned out. I still paper pieced the hat, coat and boots with some woodgrain papers. I then added some die cut stars.
Which one do you prefer? Me… I dress more like the second (jeans, white tee) but my inner me would love to be the first 😉
