Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Today I am sharing a festive celebration card using ink spray watercolor.
This card was stamped, die-cut and then ink spray watercolor was added. For watercolor, I placed vibrant turquoise Dylusions ink spray onto a craft mat and then added water directly onto the stamping. You will see how I blended each. I wanted the look of streamers for this celebration theme.
Sentiment: Cheers.

I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows.
Ink Spray Watercolor With Microbeads Celebration Card

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
To begin, pre-stamp onto watercolor paper with waterproof ink. Trim or die-cut layers to fit.
For watercolor, I used Dylusions Ink Spray in vibrant turquoise. I sprayed onto a craft mat. Then I added a layer of water only to the stamping, where I wanted color.
For the look of streamers, I added color to the water section and let it move with the water. As I went along, I added more of the same ink spray color.
Blot puddles and then heat set. Apply glue or Glossy Accents along the streamer lines. Then apply gold microbeads to the glue.
Once dry, layer and assemble the card.
Here is another look.
