Hi friends! I am up on the blog today with something fun that I hope you’ll enjoy– a little no line watercoloring! I am just going to say in advance right now I am no expert at no line coloring– but I have found a method that works for me and gives me the effect!
Let’s start out with the most important detail.. I am going to be using the stamp set: Joy and Brighter Days
This stamp set is so great for spring and summertime crafting and I have been obsessing over these cute boots! 🙂
I am going to be stamping out these cute boots using a no-line coloring ink from Inkon3– our friend Fleurette owns this company and she is the sweetest thing ever. This is a unique ink to our industry as it’s mean to sort of absorb the color that is applied to it making it appear no line! It’s a really cool ink and it’s so perfect with this technique.
So without further ado– here is the video to see how I created this card:
Pretty cool, right?
I also created a card using the same technique but used a black Versafine Clair ink so you can see the different looks you can achieve!
And.. for a little bit of extra flair.. I HAD to add some sparkle to this card. I love love love adding sparkle to my cards and this is a Liquid Pixie Dust from Inkon3– it can be used by simply painting it over the top of your watercolors- otherwise if you want to have shimmery watercolors you can add this shimmer into the colors that you are mixing!
Either way the effect is stunning…Â
I hope that you enjoyed this super quick and fun tutorial on no line watercoloring–Â Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit– if you try this technique be sure to share with me over on the Unity {Show & Tell}– I would love to see it!
Until next time.. happy crafting!
XOXO,
