Hello, it’s Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing an open window frame card featuring a cute dog and balloon plus dry embossing.
This open window frame card can work with or without embossing and almost any stamps. This one includes background stamping as well.
Sentiment: You rock.
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips for making an open window frame card. To begin, stamp and trim a plaid background. Then, stamp the dog and balloon. Also, color in the balloon and add shading to the pup. Fussy cut (cut out) the dog and balloon. Next, add black splatters to the plaid panel and allow that to dry. Then, dry emboss a white trimmed cardstock panel using an embossing folder. Next, die-cut a rectangle onto the center of the embossed panel. Stamp the sentiment onto the plaid panel and then carefully place the embossed frame over the plaid using foam tape. Finally, adhere the layers over the card base plus pop up the pup and the balloon with foam tape, to finish.
Here is another look.
