Hello, it’s Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing a layered embossed poppy flowers card & matching envelope. This one was easy to do with no coloring involved.
Layered embossed poppy flowers make beautiful florals. Using solid or variegated ink on the solid stamp along with white heat embossing on the outlines, the results are wonderful.
Sentiment: Birthday wishes.
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips for making layered embossed poppy flowers & a matching envelope. To begin, stamp the solid poppy flowers on white in two corners. Also, use two shades of pink to get a variegated look. Then, stamp the outline flower onto one corner of an envelope. Next, dry completely and then stamp the outline layer over the stamping in embossing ink. Also, add white embossing powder to heat set the flowers. Then, die-cut the white layer using waxed paper over the embossing. Finally, remove the waxed paper and adhere the floral layer over a color card base, to finish.
And this is a look a little closer.
