HI!
Happy Tuesday! Maria here with a fun holiday project. I had these that i purchased not long ago. I have always loved to mess around with wood pieces for stamping and crafty projects. These are great because you can stamp on them use them as a base like I will show you or even paint on them. So many fun possibilities.
For this project I wanted to use the new set called 3 Times as Merry. I decided to go simple and not stamp directly on them but use some fun papers instead.
I first took stamp pads and just ran it around the edges of the wood and then the little top near the ribbon.
Next I picked some pattern paper. This one below I used the Unity paper pack called Rustic Winter Wishes. I used the largest circle from the Scallops and Circles die set to cut the base layer to cover the wood. Then using that same die set I cut the sentiment and a red layer for underneath. I adhered the base layer with double sided tape/glue and the sentiment layer with the foam tape shown.
For the second ornament I went about the same process as the first. This is a The Paper Studio paper pack I had and used the black trees as my base. I colored the Santa image using alcohol markers.
Gotta love me some sparkle on everything and I just love Nuvo Glitter Drops. I added it to Santas Fur.
Close up of the glitter and shine!
