Hi Crafty friends! It is Natasha here today and I am excited to share 2 handmade Artist Trading Cards with you today! I love creating ATC’s and sharing this size card with my friends! So let’s get started!
I started my project with a gelli print from my stash. I trimmed the gelli print panel down into 2 ATC’s using a die from my stash. Once the panel was trimmed down into 2 ATC’s, I then looked in my stash for a coordinating piece of pattern paper, as well as a couple pieces of ephemera. I trimmed the pattern paper down using a die from my stash. Next I stamped the floral silhouette images from the Heart Flutter stamp set onto pattern paper. I then added Distress Oxide Ink to the paper in the color Gathered Twigs.
Next I looked through my stash of ephemera and distressed the edges using my distress tool. I then darkened the edges of the ephemera with Distress Ink in Scorched Timber. I then stamped sentiments onto the pattern paper I used above. I chose sentiments from the Wonderful and Simple Things stamp set. I trimmed the sentiments down using my paper trimmer and then distressed the edges with Scorched Timber.
I then started to adhere all the layers together (ephemera, pattern paper, sentiments, as well as a die cut). Once all the layers were adhered together, I added Paper Glaze to the edges of the ATC’s for added texture.
I had a lot of fun with these and they were super fun and quick to put together! I hope these inspire you to create handmade ATC’s as well! I will be back next week with more mixed media fun!
Have a great week crafty friends!
Natasha
