It’s all about the Giraffe

Happy Friday Unies!

I have a fun little video on this adorable, new Cuddlebug Giraffe! And you get to see the new Heart Confetti Stencil in action! I am also using my timesaver tips on how to make two cards at once!

This simple little card is all about the giraffe, that is why I use “repeat stamping” on the background!In order to create more texture and interest, I use Vellum behind the giraffe and ridges from an embossing folder on the card base.

Little details like a stitched frame around the base and gems scattered around the giraffe, will make this card even more stunning! No one will ever say you only spent 10 minutes on it!

Sweet Giraffe with Wonky Floral Frame

Good morning! Heather here this morning sharing a card with the sweetest little giraffe image EVER!!! LOVE this sweet giraffe from Looking Out For You that I used on my card today!

And of course there is a video showing how I created this card as well:

I did some super simple Copic coloring for this – love these detailed images, because to me they don’t feel like they need perfect coloring in the lines and such – a little more freestyle works so well with them! While I definitely love detail coloring, sometimes it’s nice to not have to worry so much about staying in the lines and such…

The  giraffe is stamped at an angle – which worked perfectly with the wonky frame I ended up adding with my floral pattern paper.

After the video, I die cut the front panel with a basic stitched rectangle die, added some jute twine, and mounted with foam on a white card base!
