Hey there. Welcome to the Unity blog. I’m Gaylynn. Sometimes you may want to send a thank you note to a hostess. I’ve got the perfect home scene building card idea for you. This was made using a couch stamp, Copic marker coloring, fussy cutting and patterned paper. I used die-cuts in the background, but a paper trimmer works just fine.

For the main focus of this project, I used the December 2025 Uniquely Unity Mostest Hostess red rubber stamps. (If you prefer the stamp only, it will be available in the month after it releases in the Past Uniquely Unity category.) I paired this couch with the Opulent Blooms 6×6 paper pack. The full supply list is below.
To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: Thank you for hosting. You are the best.

Helpful Tips:
-
Precut and score a white A2-sized card base for a horizontal card.
-
Stamp the couch and the sentiment onto pieces of smooth white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
-
Color the couch. I used alcohol markers in shades of tan, beige, brown and peach hues. Use what you have in similar colors.
-
Fussy cut (cut out) the couch, then die-cut or trim the sentiment panel.
-
Trim and assemble background frame panels from three different solid and patterned paper strips.
-
Layer and adhere the couch and sentiment over the background frame panel.
Additionally, let’s take a peek at the card process in photos. Here is a look at the first steps.

Next, see a peek at the last steps, including patterned paper layers.
