Monsters, Birthdays and Balloons

Happy Friday! This month is my birthday month and what better way to celebrate than with cute monsters and balloons! The new Monster Mayhem stamp set by Unity Stamp Co. is so cute… but when you pair it with the Balloon Layering Stencil, well… now we’ve got a party!

I started by creating the background with vibrant colors! And although the stencil is 6″ x 6″, you can still layer thee balloons on a slimline by taping off the edges. I also used various colors by masking some balloons. Once done, I used some Perfect Pearls to splatter some glittery goodness over the background.

For these two cuties, I used equally vibrant Copics to color them. Next I fussy cut them and used foam tape to pop them up. I also stamped the sentiment and used a speech bubble die and popping that up.

For added sparkle and fun, I added flat iridescent sequins. Now these little monsters are ready to party!!! Join the party and pick up these Unity products:

  • Monster Mayhem Stamp Set

  • Monster Mayhem Digital Cut Files

  • Balloon Layering Stencil Set

Additional supplies:

  • Color Fuse Inks by Brass & Bliss (formerly known as Rubbernecker Stamps)

  • LDRS Creative – Diagonal Stitched Postage Frames

  • My Creative Time – Speech Bubbles {retired}

  • Perfect Pearls

  • Copics Markers

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you found some inspiration!

Let the party continue… until the next time.

Monster Mayhem Monday

Happy Monday! Andrea here with some monsterly good fun. Monster Mayhem is a new release and currently at a great price. I love these fun quirky images. Something different from all the bunny cards I’ve been making LOL. Here are the blue copics I used to color my image.

Here are the other colors I used matching them to my patterned paper. Love blue, pink, orange and green together. Now to put my card together. I cut my layers using the Big Scallops and Rectangles dies. Can’t get enough of them.

I also made another card using Grin and Purr which is also on sale today. Perfect for those cat loving people in your life. Loving all the orange colors.

Unity Supplies Used:

*Monster Mayhem

*Grin and Purr

*Big Scallops and Rectangles

I hope these cards inspire you to get crafty today!
