It’s time for another mixed media Saturday…
and, today I am sharing a small canvas
that I made using this month’s Layers of Life kit!
It’s been a warm & gorgeous start to Summer,
so with this in mind, I decided to create with this “happy” color palette!
Lots of paints, mists, distress inks, gel sticks used here!
I added a touch of metal, rhinestone, and burlap for some extra texture.
Not too much though, ’cause I wanted to highlight these amazing stamps!
I colored in some of the ‘happy’ paper hearts and decided
to layer the black butterfly…
The flower was made from dictionary paper
and the leaves..wish you could see them…
they’ve been painted, distressed, inked, and crumpled!!
Hope this inspires you to pull out your
mixed media Unity stamps!
