Hi everyone, Laurel here. With Father’s Day (and my dad’s birthday) around the corner, I decided to create a masculine card. Do you make a lot of masculine ones? I find myself making mostly ones for girls.
I pulled out Authentic Man… I have had this set for years and used it a lot but lately it has been neglected so it was time! Yellow seems to be a trendy color right now so that is why I decided to use it. Now yellow, gray and black work well for masculine don’t you think?
Of course for a little grunge in the background I had to use Epic Moments... again, one of my favorite kits. I then stamped the lines from Authentic Man for interest and then completed that panel with the ‘dad’ from Small Things Matter Most (4/11 KOTM).
I really liked the background stamp in the Stay Classy (3/18 KOTM) and thought it could be tire tread so I stamped it a few times then punched out a circle to use as a grounding for the car. I mounted the car on foam squares.
The final touch is the washi tape and the staples… it’s a masculine card, I needed some metal,
Papers: Pattern Happy
