Hi all welcome Back to another Step it out Sunday!
It will be my last post for Sunday’s I’ll be moving to Thursday.
Today We are going to be look at Versatile ways to use Stamps. I am always trying new things with my stamps and at the end if you’ve not done this then I must say give it a try!
I have been having so much fun with this Motorcycle I can’t get enough of it.
Kit Name:
June KOTM
I love to use stencils, it gives things depth.
I used Tim Holtz rays and a broken star stencil with Vintage Photo Distress Ink to creat the background.
I colored the Motorcycle with Copic markers and then Fussy cut it out.
I also used Gina Marie Designs Die Wonky Stitched rectangles.
I put on a nice layer of Wink of Stella to give it some shine!
This kit is great to have for that Guy in your life! Love it.
I have Shared on the Unity Show & Tell what I have been doing with this kit so I thought I would share with you all what I have been making.
My Husband and I love to Motorcycle and when we go places we want to be able to track where we have been so I have been making a Travel Journal and I used this Motorcycle along with a few other Unity Kits to make it fun.
My first thing I did was stamp on Velum I also Colored it on the back side and inked it up with some Vintage Photo to give it that rustic feel.
Then I cut it and sewed it with my sewing machine into my Travelers notebook.
This is so fun. and a great way to get more use out of your stamps. Make your own Background paper.
Here is one of my pages I have created Using The Motorcycle. I stamped it in Gray ink for a soft feel. I have a Tuck Pocket at the top for photos and to log where we have been.
Same with this one. I stamped it in Gray and added a flag banner at the top of the log page. I love the vintage feel.
I used a LOL kit for this sentiment that is a side pocket, with some Project life cards.
Did you know you can stamp on wax paper??? Well you can and I made my own glassine bags! I used StazOn ink for this but don’t heat set it hehehe you’ll melt your bag.
Well That’s all the fun I have for you today. Until next time ( This next Thursday) Keep stamping!
