Mirror Tool Technique – Distress Ink and White Paint

Mirror Tool Technique – Distress Ink and White Paint

Good morning! Heather here with the final episode in my three part series of different techniques featuring the Unity Mirror Stamping Tool! This week may be my favorite of all the different effects I’ve gotten with this tool! I’m topping these backgrounds off with an image and sentiment from Never Easier Just Better.

Here is this week’s video showing how I created this effect on these cards:

I love the variation and tone difference you get with the mixture of the white paint and distress ink refills – sort of a soft marbling!

I mention this in the video as well, but do make sure to give plenty of time for your background to dry before adding your stamping over the top. And once you’ve stamped, give it a few minutes to dry as well so you don’t smudge your stamped image.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
