Two ways to use gilding flakes, Whit- kit

Happy Saturday, Echo here with a video tutorial swing two ways to use gilding flakes, Whit- kit. Using April’s card kit.. I am so in love with this months kit.

What’s inside April’s Whit-kit?

Here is everything that comes inside of this months kit. A great value for so much fun and the patterned paper in this kit is so amazing!

Kit used:

Here is two more cards I made with this kit.

For this card I grabbed some of the patterned paper that comes in the kit. Tore the edge and added some pink card stock. Stamped the butterfly twice and cut with my Scan N Cut. Layered the butterflies and added foam tape between the layers to pop up the wings. Quick coloring with Copic markes. Matted it with some gold glitter paper. Stamped the sentiments.

This one was super fun! I tore some scrap paper and masked on both sides of card panel. Then ink blended using distress ink in mustard seed and fossilized amber. Them stamped it with the Honeycomb background in VersaFine Clair ink in nocturne. Distressed the edges. Then added sentiment and colored and cut bees.

I hope you found some inspiration with two ways to use gilding flakes, Whit- kit! If you try this technique out for yourself, tag me over on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group. I would love to see what you make with this technique using this kit. I love seeing your creations so much.
Thank you so much for joining me!
I will be looking forward to seeing you next month. Stay tuned for more inspiration with May’s kit. If you missed March’s blog post from me you can find it here
