Vibrant background with simple stamping!

Vibrant background with simple stamping!

Happy Saturday! Echo here filling in for Whitney with some vibrant background and simple stamping cards using April’s Kit of the month- Hope in Uncertainty.

Here is the full kit if you haven’t seen it yet!

I love this monthly membership kit. I have personally been a member since 2016. Such beautiful stamps at a great value. Delivered right to my door!

Today I have a video tutorial using distress oxides to create a vibrant background with simple stamping. I love how detailed red rubber stamps and is simply beautiful!

Kit used:

April’s Kit of the Month- Hope in Uncertainty

Vibrant background with simple stamping!

Here is two more cards I did using April’s Kit of the Month using vibrant backgrounds with simple stamping. For this technique I used my Tombow markers and an acrylic stamping block.

Supplies needed. Tombow markers from the bright palette in purple, blue, and green. Any water based marker or ink pad will work with this technique. An acrylic stamping block and Canson bristol smooth paper. Canson XL watercolor paper would work for this technique as well.

Cut bristol paper to an A2 size card base. Color the markers directly to the acrylic block.

Spritz with water and stamp block down onto paper.

Repeat process to get desired colors. I did mine twice. Then I let dry and stamped desired image with VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle. Layered with die cut mats added sentiments and sequins.

I hope you found some inspiration with these vibrant background with simple stamping cards. If you try this technique out for yourself, tag me over on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group. I would love to see what you make with this technique using this kit. I love seeing your creations so much.
Thank you so much for joining me!
I will be looking forward to seeing you next month. If you missed my last blog post using April’s Whit- Kit card kit you can find that here.
