I am back on the Unity Blog with a pair of vintage tags featuring the Encompassed Beauty, Art and Possibility, and the More than Today stamp sets. I have been in a creative funk for a little bit and found it therapeutic to dig into my stash of Unity classics and some older supplies.
I dipped the gelatos in water and colored over the stamp. Then, I spritzed it with water and stamped it on watercolor paper. I spritzed some more water and got a second-generation stamping on another piece of watercolor cardstock. Finally, I stamped over the first-gen stamped image in black ink.
I stamped the text from More than Today over the background for the second tag. Next, I created sentiment strips by heat-embossing words from the Art and Possibility stamp set on black cardstock.
Finally, I trimmed the tags and punched a hole. Then, I distressed the edges, added ink details, and assembled the tags with some dried flowers. I finished off by adding some jute ribbon to the tags.
