A Pair of Mixed Media Tags with Soul Mail

I am back on the Unity Blog for my weekly dose of Unity Inspiration. Today, I am sharing a pair of mixed media tags featuring the Soul Mail stamp set and Make A Tag {die set}. Soul Mail is the latest stamp set I designed and it includes a mix of different elements that can be layered to achieve beautiful results. Mixed Media Tags

both the tags I created are very similar, yet a little different. I started by stamping the flower in the vase on watercolor paper with Versafine Claire Ink. Then I colored the images using Distress Watercolor Pencils. I fussy cut one, while I ripped around the other. I created 2 tags using the Make A Tag {die set} and kraft cardstock.

Next came the fun part. I ripped out 2 pieces of paper and inked them using distress inks and stamped over them. I added some tissue paper, stitching details, crackle pastes through a stencil, and random bits of embossed cardstock from my stash. Finally I added my stamped sentiment strips and added some ribbon to the tags.
