Happy Friday! This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today sharing how to make two cards using two stamp sets and two markers. Okay, a few little extras… but you’ll really love how easy these are to make! Here are all the Unity supplies I used:
- Making Spirits Bright Stamp Set
- Dear Santa Stamp Set
- Postage Nesting Dies
- Black Burlap String
- VersaFine Clair {Nocturne}
- Copic Markers: R27 and W2
Let’s start with the easiest card! I started with the 3rd smallest Postage Nesting die from the nesting set and cut out a piece of ivory card stock. I placed that in my Misti and stamped the front side envelope from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set and the “Dear Santa, I can explain.” sentiment from the Dear Santa stamp set. Using a W2 Copic marker, I created a shadow around the envelope. I colored in the stamp with R27 to add a little red highlight.
To add a little extra, I used some black burlap string to the left side of the postage piece. From there I found some red and ivory patterned paper and matted it with black licorice luxury card stock to tie it all together. Now let’s do it again with these cute little envelopes!
Now, this one is a slightly little more complex, but still fun and easy! Using the cute back envelope with a little heart seal from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set, I made a pile of happy mail. I started with the second to the right envelope. Once that was stamped and colored, I created a mask. From there, you’ll really need about two masks to make this card. Once I stamped the sentiment, I die cut this card front with the largest Postage Nesting die set.
I also used that same large postage die to cut out a layer from the Black Licorice Luxury card stock. For the stamped one, I trimmed it down at the stitched section so that I could layer it over the black piece and allow it to have a border. Both of these layers were adhered to an ivory card base and you’re done! Not too bad, right?
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you found some inspiration. Make sure to look at your stamps to take all the little cute ones to make fun cards! And when you do, make sure to share your talents on the Unity {show & tell} Facebook Page!
Until next time… Happy Crafting!
