Ween You’ve Had Enough

If you’ve ever looked at your dog and thought, “Yep… that’s exactly how I feel today,” then the new Ween You’ve Had Enough stamp set from Unity Stamp Company is about to become your new favorite.

These two lovable dachshunds perfectly capture those everyday moods we all experience—from completely peopled-out to hoping the day asks very little of us. Their droopy expressions, oversized eyes, and hilarious sentiments make them impossible not to smile at.

For these two cards, I leaned into all things dog themed by mixing and matching several of Unity’s coordinating products. The result? Cards that are playful, layered, and packed with puppy personality!

You’re Allowed to Be Tired…

The sweet black-and-tan dachshund may look exhausted, but isn’t that expression just the cutest?

I colored him with Copic markers to really bring out all those adorable facial features before placing him against the Woof-Tastic Paper Pack. The subtle pattern lets that expressive face steal the show while the bold red chevron strip adds just enough playful energy.

The sentiment…

“You’re allowed to be tired. You’ve been people-ing.”

…is one that so many of us can relate to! It’s the perfect encouragement card for a friend who needs permission to slow down and recharge.

May Today Require Very Little of You

Our second little weenie dog has the exact same energy…

“Can today just be easy?”

This warm brown dachshund is colored with rich earthy Copics and paired with soft blue polka dots from the Pup-Pup: The Love of A Dog Paper Pack. The cheerful paper creates a fun contrast against that wonderfully unimpressed expression.

To add even more puppy charm, I inked the background using the Jagged Paw Print Stencil and finished everything off with a few clear embellishments for a little sparkle.

Sometimes the simplest sentiments become the most meaningful, and this one is sure to brighten someone’s day.

Mixing the Dog-Themed Collection

One of my favorite things about Unity products is how easily everything works together. Instead of reaching for just one stamp set, I combined patterned papers, backgrounds, and stencils to build playful scenes that celebrate our favorite four-legged friends.

The Muddy Paws Background Stamp is another fantastic addition to this collection and works beautifully behind these adorable dachshunds when you want even more texture and depth.

Summer Beach Card Making with Whit-Kit

Hello friends.  Welcome to the Unity blog.  I’m Gaylynn.  Enjoy Summer beach card making with a seaside goose. To build the scene, I added beach stenciling, sweet duck stamping, masking, fussy cutting and alcohol ink coloring. It is close to a one layer card with the exception of the sentiment tag.

For this, ink blending was easy with the beach stencil. The featured Unity Stamp Company stamp and sentiment are from the July 2026 Whit-Kit card kit membership called Cool Goose Summer. To make the scene pop, I used die-cuts from Deckle and Stitches nesting dies.

To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment:  Soak up the sunshine!

Additionally, this is a look at the Whit-Kit Membership for July 2026.  There is also a
one-time full kit and the stamps only.

Helpful Tips:

1.       Prepare a vertical scored white card base 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.
2.       Die-cut a rectangle on white cardstock using the next-to-largest Deckle & Stitches nesting die.
3.       Stamp the goose twice: once on the bottom right of the deckle rectangle piece and again on masking or scrap paper.
4.       Fussy cut (cut out) the extra duck.
5.       Color the duck using markers of choice.  I used shades of tan, yellow, light orange, red and light gray.
6.       Mask the duck.  Place repositionable adhesive behind the cut duck piece or use masking sheets.
7.       Temporarily adhere the cut duck piece over the colorful duck on the rectangle panel.
8.       Using By the Shore stencil, ink blend the beachy scene with light tan and three shades of teal dye ink.
9.       Remove the duck masking.
10.    Stamp then trim the sentiment onto white cardstock.
11.    Adhere the card front and sentiment tag over the card base using double-sided foam tape or glue.

In summary, this was relatively simple to make.  Just pick your stamp and a complementary background and put them inside the same scene together.

Use the Paper: Making Use of Your Favorite Paper Packs

Raise your hand if you have a collection of patterned paper so pretty that you’re afraid to cut into it. ????‍♀️ Now raise your other hand if you also have drawers full of ephemera, tickets, tags, and die cuts that you’ve been “saving for the perfect project.” Well, today’s cards are here to stage a friendly intervention.

Featuring the adorable new Pissy Kitty “Leave Me Alone” stamp, these cards are proof that the perfect project is the one you’re making right now. Because let’s be honest—your patterned paper isn’t getting any prettier sitting in a drawer!

For these cozy and slightly grumpy creations, I challenged myself to dig into my stash and actually use all those bits and pieces I’ve been collecting. Layered patterned papers from the Cozy Cup Cafe Paper Pack, tucked-in tickets, random tags, leftover die cuts, scraps, and ephemera all came together to create fun backgrounds that perfectly complement our bundled-up kitty friend.

The first card combines cheerful yellow gingham with layered tickets and soft aqua accents. The contrast between the bright, happy papers and Kitty’s less-than-thrilled expression makes me laugh every time. Apparently, even a warm drink and a cozy blanket aren’t enough to improve the mood!

For the second card, I mixed striped papers, vintage-inspired tickets, tags, and little embellishments to create a café-inspired scene. The layers add depth and interest while giving those forgotten stash items a chance to shine. And honestly, isn’t that “Stay Cozy” sentiment the perfect companion to a kitty who’s clearly trying to survive winter one grumble at a time?

The best part about stash-busting cards like these is that there are no rules. Mix patterns. Layer scraps. Add that ephemera piece you’ve been saving since 2018. If it makes you smile, it belongs on your card.

So consider this your official permission slip:

✨ Cut the paper.
✨ Use the ephemera.
✨ Stop saving supplies for “someday.”
✨ Make the card.

Because crafting supplies were made to bring joy, not collect dust.

And if anyone questions your creative decisions, just channel Pissy Kitty and tell them to leave you alone.

DIY card topper ~ neigh there

Greetings, Gaylynn here.  Looking for a way to dress up your card? Make a DIY greeting card topper. It helps to have cute stamping to go with it.

Also, the featured Unity Stamp Company pun stamps and sentiment are from Neigh There stamps. To create this card, I used rubber stamping, alcohol markers for coloring, patterned paper and die-cutting. I included the project steps and supplies below.

In summary, the steps used to create this card are detailed below.

HELPFUL TIPS:

  • Prepare a white card base panel using white cardstock, 4 ¼” x 5 ½” folded.

  • Stamp the horse onto white cardstock using alcohol friendly black ink.

  • Color the horse scene. I used Copic markers in shades of gray, brown, yellow and green.

  • Stamp the sentiment near the top center of a piece of patterned paper.

  • Die-cut rectangle nesting layers from ZigZag dies.

  • Die-cut or trim the sentiment topper using the zig-zag dies and patterned paper.

  • Adhere and layer everything over the card front.

Colorful Cabana Critics

Some friendships are built on deep conversations and heartfelt advice… and some are built on judging people walking by from the comfort of a poolside cabana. ????

Today’s card features the absolutely fabulous Cabana Critics from the June 2026 Kit of the Month and honestly? These ladies are a whole mood. The second I saw this image, I knew they deserved a bright tropical background and plenty of personality.

Bringing the Background to Life

The background started with a little ink-sprayed chaos — my favorite kind! I used three Distress Ink Sprays:

  • Saltwater Taffy
  • Mustard Seed
  • Cracked Pistachio

I sprayed the colors onto watercolor cardstock, letting them blend and mingle naturally for that carefree summer vibe. The mix of warm pinks, sunny yellows, and fresh greens instantly reminded me of retro resort colors and fruity poolside drinks.

The best part? Those spray colors completely inspired the Copic coloring for the ladies. I pulled similar tones into their outfits and accessories so everything would coordinate without feeling too matchy-matchy. The result feels bright, playful, and perfectly sassy — just like the image itself.

A Little Shade & A Lot of Style

Can we talk about their expressions for a second? These ladies look like they’ve already judged everyone’s swimsuit choices, ranked the resort cocktails, and started a rumor about someone named Linda.

And honestly… I support it. ????

I kept the design fairly clean so the image and colorful background could steal the spotlight. A few simple embellishments and layered die cuts were all this card needed.

Why I Love This Stamp

The Cabana Critics stamp perfectly captures that fun, cheeky summer energy. It’s playful, relatable, and packed with personality — which makes coloring it even more fun. If you love character stamps that tell a story, this one is definitely going to become a favorite.

Bees Humorous Birthday Card ~ Uniquely Unity

Greetings and welcome to the Unity blog.  It’s Gaylynn.  Here is a humorous birthday card with bees and a margarita glass. Incorporate funny stamping onto vellum and coloring on vellum with alcohol markers.

Noteably, the featured Unity Stamp Company stamps are from the June 2026 Uniquely Unity called Honey, I’m Buzzed. Also, this is sold individually as one-time purchase stamps. To create this card, I used rubber stamping onto vellum, alcohol markers and die-cutting.

 

To begin, here is a look at the finished card.
Sentiment: Hope your birthday is buzz-worthy.

 

In summary, the steps used to create this card are detailed below.

HELPFUL TIPS:

1.     Prepare a vertical white card base 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

2.     Stamp the bees & margarita from the June Uniquely Unity Honey, I’m Buzzed stamps onto vellum using black Staz-On ink and let it dry completely or clear heat emboss.

3.     Stamp it again in black onto white cardstock

4.     With the white bees panel, fussy cut the bees & margarita in one piece.

5.     Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock.

6.     Onto the opposite side of the stamped vellum, color the bees and margarita in marker shades of orange, yellow and salmon shades.  Trim the vellum approximately 3” x 2 ½”.

8.     Onto the coloring side of the vellum, line up and adhere the stamped white fussy cut panel using clear tape.

9.     Die-cut the black and yellow background panels using a medium and large Deckle & Stitches dies.

10. Die-cut the sentiment with Scallops & Circles dies.

11. Adhere the black and yellow background panels over the card base.  And, cover the yellow panel with the layered vellum panel, stamp side up.

13. Top with the sentiment.

Have a TEE-rific Father’s Day!

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and if the dad in your life loves spending weekends on the golf course, this card is definitely a hole-in-one! Today I’m sharing a fun Father’s Day card featuring the Mulligan stamp set and The 19th Hole paper pack from the new Fairway Friends Collection by Unity Stamp Company.

The best part? This card came together surprisingly easy thanks to the perfectly coordinated patterned paper and stamps. No need to “drive” yourself crazy with complicated techniques for this one!

Card Details

I absolutely love the scenic golf course background included in The 19th Hole paper pack. It instantly sets the scene and makes creating masculine cards quick and effortless. The golfer image from the Mulligan stamp set fits right into the background like he was always meant to be there!

The sentiment, “Have a TEE-rific Father’s Day,” adds the perfect finishing touch and makes this card ideal for dads, grandpas, husbands, or any golf-loving guy in your life.

How I Made This Card

1. Die Cut the Background

I started by die cutting one of the patterned papers from The 19th Hole paper pack featuring the golf course background.

2. Stamp the Main Image

Next, I stamped the golfer image and sentiment directly onto the patterned paper background and set it aside.

3. Color & Fussy Cut

I stamped the golfer again onto white cardstock and colored him using Copic markers. Once finished, I fussy cut the golfer, frog, and golf ball separately.

Pro Tip: Use a black marker like the Memento Dual Tip Marker in Tuxedo Black to color the edges of your fussy cut images. This gives them a clean, polished finish and helps hide those white edges!

4. Add Dimension

Using a fine tip glue bottle, I carefully adhered the fussy cut pieces directly over the stamped images on the patterned paper, lining everything up perfectly for a dimensional layered look.

5. Finish the Card

Lastly, I backed the panel with brown cardstock and adhered everything onto a white card base.

Easy peasy — no bogeys here! ????
