Hello, friends! Welcome to Tuesdays Thoughts with Bobbie Sue, on a Saturday! 😉 When the chance to write todays blog presented itself I jumped at the chance. I knew immediately I was going to create inspired by gratefulness & thankfulness for love and kindness shown to my family and I over the past couple of months.
I have several cards near ready to go in the mail this week to show my husband and I’s gratitude for love that was shown to us last month as we moved from our home church in Texas to relocate permanently to our farm here in Arkansas.
This first card uses the most beautiful background stamp Floriated Background and sentiment blocks from the July 2022 Sentiment Kit called so kind, so caring, so you. (Now called Front and Center stamps)
I love the look of the bold text block sentiments from the July 2022 Front and Center set. The online photo does not do this card justice. I wish you could see all the little details of the watercolor wash around each stem and all the little splatters.
I made this next card as a gift to our Texas Pastor & First Lady as they were so so good to Duane and I the 9 years we were under their Pastoral leadership.
Here I have used both the image and sentiment from a beautiful set, designed by Sandhya, called Silent Spring. This was such a joy to color. The image is so delicate and beautiful!
The one lone coneflower stole my heart. 😉
This sentiment is perfect for expressing gratitude that covers a multitude…
I do plan on using this sentiment on several other thank you cards that are on my list to make. Recently, my sister was hospitalized in serious condition and may remain for several months. Two of her closest friends have been there for her in our absence as we live so far away from her. I’m eternally grateful…
I would love to see your cards using any of Unity’s large selection of thank you category stamps!
I hope you give thought to who inspires your makes and let them know by sending them a card!
Please, share your makes with me, and who or what inspired them, by tagging me in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook page. I squeal with delight when ya’ll do this!!
I would love for you to follow my card making journey here on my Facebook and here on my Instagram.
As always, I enjoy my time here and I thank you for joining me.
Until next time, I look forward to more Inspired by Thoughts. Right here, next month.
Blessings,
Bobbie Sue
