Vintage Blooms & Botany, Whit-kit
Ahh, this Vintage Blooms & Botany kit is probably my favorite this year! I have two more samples using this months kit.
Using the left over patterned paper from the first card that I made the video for this card. The patterned paper looked fantastic against some grey card stock. I stamped the blooms with Gina K ink in moonlit fog. I did a mix of both first and second generation stamping. Then I added a gold stripe of card stock. Splattered the stamped half with gold watercolor paint. Adhered everything together and die cut it with the deckle & stitched nesting dies. I stamped the sentiment and die cut it using the scalloped & stitches sentiment die set. Then added to a plum card base.
For this last card I wanted to play with that stencil. So what I did was take my Gina K ink cubes and I swiped them down the stencil. I love the texture it leaves on the paper from ink swiping. The ink cubes fit perfectly in the stencil. Gina K inks in fresh asparagus, jelly bean green, and key lime. Then I stamped a bloom on each color with Vesafine Clair ink in nocturne. Stamped the sentiment and embossed with white embossing powder. Added a ribbon and some sequins. Distressed the edges and added a hand drawn frame.
Have a great weekend. Thank you, for joining me today!
