Hello Crafty Friends, It is Natasha here back with a new week of Mixed Media Fun!!!!! Today I am back to share a handmade tag with you using the beautiful Boho Blooms stamp set! So let’s get started!
I started with a kraft tag base from a previous KOM( Kit of the Month). You can use any tag base you have, as well as create your own using a tag die set. Then I chose pattern paper from my stash and adhered this to my tag base with liquid glue. Next I stamped the beautiful rose image from the Boho Blooms stamp set. I stamped the image onto a distressed background made with Distress Inks. I stamped the image in Versafine Clair ink and then heat set with clear embossing powder.
Next I colored the rose image using my Distress Watercolor pencils. I work in layers when watercoloring and build the color, making sure to allow each layer to dry on it’s own. Once the rose was colored, I trimmed the stamped image with my deckle trimmer and distressed the edges with Distress Ink.
Next I die cut a few hearts using left over scraps. I distressed the edges, as well as added embossing glaze to the edge of the hearts. I then created some ephemera using the Bohemian Dreams paper pack. I trimmed the ephemera, as well as distressed them and added embossing glaze for added texture.
I completed my tag by adhering all the layers together on the tag base. I added vellum, lace, cheesecloth, as well as the heart die cuts. I added a sentiment strip from a past Unity set. I love the premade sentiments from Unity, they add the perfect touch and are so fun, as well as easy to use!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great week!
Natasha
