Hello, Gaylynn here. This is a demonstration of using mandala stamped layers in card making. Today on the Unity blog, I am sharing a way to use some of the layers to make a soft wedding card on color cardstock.
The mandala stamped layers are intentionally in soft colors for this wedding card example. The options are endless as to color choices, layering and accents.
Sentiment: Congratulations
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips for using mandala stamped layers in card making. To begin, choose your mandala layers, ink and cardstock colors. Then, stamp the layers one at a time from the largest mandala to the smallest, using a stamp positioner like the Misti. {An option is to look to the sides to see where the stamp touches the paper, to help with alignment.} Next, proceed to the next stamp layer and then to the smallest, each in different ink colors. Then, adhere the card front to the card base. Also, for accent, add Nuvo drops or gems between one layer, but leave the drops to dry completely before proceeding. Finally, add the sentiment and heart embellishments, to finish.
This is a closer look.
