Hello, it’s Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing an interactive pop-up card technique featuring a fun bird on the inside and on the outside.
Almost any pop-up element cut-out can be used with many different stamps to create a similar interactive pop-up feature inside of a greeting card.
Sentiment:
Oh hello! Miss you like crazy.
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for this interactive pop-up card. To begin, prepare an A2 sized card base. Next, stamp, color and trim a top panel with the bird, heart and sentiment. Also, stamp, color and fussy cut another bird plus a separate inside sentiment. Then, stamp two sets of branches directly onto the edges of the card base. Next, trim or die-cut a pop-up element for the inside of the card. Then, fold and glue the end tabs, centering the pop-up fold to match the card base fold line, so that it closed flat. Then, adhere the cut-out stamped decorations to the pop-up inside element. (Be sure that when closed, the decorations remain within the card before adhering it all.) Finally, layer the front panel over the card base, to finish.
Card base: cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score 4 1/4″.
Front panel: cut approximately 3″ x 4 1/2″
