Hello, friends! Welcome to another, Tuesday’s Thoughts with Bobbie Sue.
Lets talk Border Stamping. Unity has some of the most wonderful border stamps. I love when an image frames the border of the card and allows the sentiment to shine front and center. I love more that there are so many single images to create our own borders with!
Here I created border on a card without the need for masking. Because the deep etched red rubber has just enough height that you can get it as close to another stamped image without crossing lines.
This Sunflower cluster from “Sending Love and Prayers” has always been a favorite of mine. The Happy Birthday from “Layered Cake Builder“. Love how big the Happy stamp is!
Can you see here in this photo where I popped up two of the fussy cut pieces of the sunflower stamp? Oh, how I wish you could see it in person!
I was actually able to be move even closer to the stamped image, than what you see here, without crossing over.
Again, I love how I as able to get so close to the image without the need for masking. Not only does this makes for a much quicker card, but also allows you to stamp on the go without added supplies!
Did you know~ every stamp used in the Unity blog is on sale for that week, many of Unity’s stamps have an SVG cut file available for purchase, and nearly all of the stamps have card designs for inspiration, and a stamp size description, as well! Thanks so much, Unity!
I hope you give thought to who inspires your makes and let them know by sending them a card!
I would love to see your cards using any of Unity stamps to create a border!
Please, share your stamped border makes with me, and who or what inspired them, by tagging me in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook page.
I would love for you to follow my card making journey here on my Facebook and here on my Instagram.
As always, I enjoy my time here and thank you for joining me.
Until next time, I look forward to more Tuesdays Thoughts. Right here, next month.
Blessings,
Bobbie Sue
